Lava dragon

I don't know how long this has taken me. I've lost the cognition of time. I'm so sorry for the huge delay. I should have had this finished a lot ago...

Anyway, here is a lava dragon.   told me about a lava dragon with solidified lava plates all around its body (if I understood right xD). While I was drawing them, my fantasy turned them in sort of floating scales. PLEASE DON'T ASK WHY. I wouldn't be able to give a rational answer. But I'm just happy that I've finally completed this piece.

This is actually an edited photo, tomorrow I'm going to post the usual scanned version. In this moment I'm too lazy to argue with my scanner. ^^"
